Upon entering the living room, we discover the natural corner around the dining table, integrated into a unique designer island oriented toward seating. The selected luxury lighting fixtures with built-in planters carry the natural motif throughout the space. From the several TV unit variants we developed, the client chose our favorite. In it, the unit makes a gesture toward the natural zone and with “spread wings” almost touches it. The gesture is emphasized in both the suspended ceiling and the floor through an arc that resonates in the opposite furniture as well. The chosen materials and colors: wood decor, olive green, natural white plaster further contribute to the natural harmony, while black accents bring a sense of modern style.
The theme carries from the main room to the other spaces, where it becomes a contemporary interpretation of Japanese architecture, whose philosophy is to be a harmonious part of nature. The wardrobe in the bedroom is inspired by sliding Japanese screens with rice paper, and above the bedroom a stylized natural motif is visible. The two symmetrical mirrors frame the bedroom, creating surprising moments in the interior, while the opposite wall is resolved with wallpaper reminiscent of Japanese fabric with a rhythm of elegant wooden slats. The flowing forms and clean lines of the furniture contribute to the stylish and harmonious atmosphere.
The stylized natural motif on the built-in coat rack (for which we specially created space in the apartment through minor renovation), combined with elegant wooden slats and natural white plaster on the walls in combination with a mirror built into modern paneling, preserve the modern style already established in the interior. The paneling delicately unifies the doors to the toilet and wet room.
